We hear it all the time. Sports can teach our kids so much more than the game they’re playing. Through sports, we’ve seen our youths learn discipline, work ethic, respect and so much more. In my opinion, few people embody these lessons more than my man Myson Jones.
After a prestigious basketball career at Anderson University, Myson found himself on a whole new court dribbling the challenges of corporate America and real-world obstacles. His lessons in the sport of basketball would translate into an independent career where he trains and educates young basketball players on so much more than the sport they wish to play.
Some may look at Myson Jones as a basketball trainer. Respectfully, I disagree. Myson is a life coach, educator, and mentor to young boys and girls across the Upstate of South Carolina and beyond.
When I first met Myson, it didn’t take me long to hear the drive and passion in his voice. This is a professional who cares about his business, his clients and the people around him. I suspect it won’t take you long the hear the same.
In this episode, we cover so many topics and provide amazing value. We discuss;
* The Advantage of being an Underdog
* Using Work Ethic and Grit to Get Ahead
* How to Build Confidence
* Self Accountability
* Taking Advantage of Your Opportunities
* The Importance of People Over Business
And so much more!
Do yourselves a favor and hit play on this value-packed episode! I hope you enjoy this conversation with Myson Jones as much as I did. As always, leave a comment below with your thoughts and feedback! We would love to hear from you!
