We take a short break in our Ephesians series to Celebrate Christmas as a church family. Here is the Christmas message from our annual CBC Christmas Dinner.

Life, at various times is going to be stressful, and this is especially true for those who are living as the church in service to Christ. So the question is, how can we get squeezed by life without feeling squeezed. How do we endure the stress of life on the outside and sill have joy on the inside. Let’s take a look and see.

I love it when we find things in the Bible that make us scratch our heads and think, “I wonder why he put that in there”. Take a look at what we have discovered in this letter and the humbling reminder is provides.

Have ever tried to find something at the local shopping mall? Now you can wonder around like most of do, hoping to stumble upon something; or you can look at the map. The map shows you where to go and this only makes sense because it shows you where you are. Because it shows you these two things you now know what you have to do. Take a look with us as we examine the blueprint for our lives so we can discover where we are headed, where we are and how that effects our actions right now.

Paul is writing this letter from Prison. This is where his life has led him and he shows no signs of stopping. Why would someone do that? Find out as we explore the man behind the ministry.

Why did he do it? Why did Christ shed his blood on the cross? Did he do it to simply clear us of our guilt? Or did he have more in mind? Listen as we discover that the reason God shed his blood, the reason he went to such great lengths to forgive us and reconcile us was because he is try to build something. Listen as we get to the heart of what God is up to in the world.

How can we be a part of what God is doing in the world? Listen in as we layout a practical plan to go into all the world so that we might share the gospel, make disciples and plant churches.

Circumcision? Gentiles? Partitions? Enmity? The common wealth of Israel? The Temple? What is Paul talking about? In order to understand Paul's new revelation we must first understand the old one. Listen as we discuss how the blood of Jesus Christ changed everything.

So if I am saved by grace alone and I don't have to work my way into heaven, then that means I can do whatever I want, right? Is that true? Can a Christians continue to live in sin after they receive Christ? What role do good works play in the life of a believer? If we are not saved by good deeds, then what is the point of being good? So how does one get "Saved"? Have you ever been saved? In this message we learn not what salvation means but rather how we can actually get our hands on it.
