Religion that God, the Father, considers unpolluted is evidenced by both an outer expression of compassion for orphans, widows, and all those in lowly positions as well as an inner character that remains unpolluted by the temptations of the world.

Merely listening to the word is not sufficient. True freedom and blessing come from remembering and continually acting upon the Word.

A walk through the book of James as we see how to make our internal faith, external. As believers we are not just hears of the word but also doers of the word.

"How to Catch a Monkey" is about the need to get rid of idols that we don't even realize we have. By looking at the calling of Gideon, we see that we must get rid of the idols in our lives before God will ever do a mighty work through us. Often, we aren't even aware of the idols we have set up.

"How to Catch a Monkey" is a call to submit to God’s calling on our lives, evaluate our lives, and get rid of our idols.

Phillip's life was something extraordinary. Not because he lead massive crowds or was a prominent figure head, simply because he stepped up and served. The book of Acts shows us how Phillip lead by being second, not first. 

God has given us the privilege to share the gospel with others.
