It is faith that saves, so the content of our faith is no small matter. What we believe about the church is one of these matters. But our beliefs about Christ's church are largely disastrous, and it shows in church membership declines and dismissing organized religion. Today's major temptation for churches is to ask what customers want instead of what God says in Scripture. The Bible describes believers as members of the body of Christ, members one of another. Joining a true church is also critical because there are many religious charlatans. In a time of autonomy, let's join together as a body and grow together.
