An old friend, Will, a political pundit himself, calls in to NO TOPIC: STRAIGHT TALK to discuss the Virginia gubernatorial election and the problems that have risen including the rape of 2 girls in a high school by a transgender student. John also recounts a story when he lived homeless in New York City and when he dated a prominent junior attorney, who was also his drug dealer.
In this unique episode, our host John is joined by Mike Blanx, of the legendary New Jersey punk band, Blanx 77, and Andrew Bedlam, of OneSided and Pogo City Radio, to discuss punk rock and other social topics, in this long form episode which ends season 2. For punk rock enthusiast's this episode will surely not disappoint! Grab a .40 and lace up your worn Docs and strap in for a great fuckin' punk rock time and hang with us for this Season 3 opener.
This episode can be viewed live as it was happening on the POGO CITY YOUTUBE channel
Interesting fact about this episode was that the 3 punx only wanted the show to be 45 minutes and instead did a 3 hour long pod, the longest in show history. Pod can be viewed on YOUTUBE or FACEBOOKLIVE at the POGO CITY page.
THIS IS A RE-UPLOAD, ONE OF OUR BEST YET, AND FUCK YOU IF YOU DIDN'T HEAR IT THE FIRST TIME
John and his co-host Chris sit down at his kitchen table, and interview a special guest, a Tinder All-Star who said "FUCK YOU CORONA! I AIN'T AFRAID OF NO SHORTNESS OF BREATH OR DIARRHEA, I NEED ME SOME DICK!"
Our expert dater tells how afraid she is of the virus. She also adds how much she loves those sites.....Tinder, Bumble & Hinge, to find dick. And dick she got. Alot of them. She throws some shade at John, for their uneventful date.
I'm sorry for the start and end of this episode. It was meant to have an actual beginning. We had planned to have and Ice T's "New Jack Hustler", but Ice T sucks, so that was out. We also planned to splice another mini episode into this one about bullying, which was really good, but i'm not very computer literate, so I deleted it by accident. Also, her phone cut out at the end there when I'm sure she was going to bash John again. THANK YOU ALL FOR LISTENING AND UNDERSTANDING.
The men of Ruth Stage are many things, but unfair is CERTAINLY not one of them!
We decided to give Mr. F'n John one more chance to not only lose his monkey title, but become a full fledged producer of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof!
CAN HE DO IT!? Will John Farruggia remain the Ruth Stage monkey? Or will he enter season one as a producer! All he has to do is answer a few simple questions.....
Back for the new year, Season 2 episode 3, John sits down with co-hosts Nick and Chris for a little sesh. Topics include growing up in the days off COVID, drag racing, beating up kids, the beef with Ice T, the police and relationships. Nick and Chris enjoy their first pod in hopefully many more to come. Chris plugged his TIK TOC channel, Nick had nothing to plug and John plugged a play he is a part of that will be put on in NYC called ' Cat On A Hot Tin Roof', put on by the RUTH STAGE. The laughs kept coming as the format of the podcast was stuck to, no topic with straight talk.
In episode 2 of season 2 , John and his co-host Matt talk about Matt's acting career, play a wrestling game, Matt's spelling bee loss in the 5th grade and once again calls out Devyn while John calls out his bitter enemy Ice T. The guys talk about John's life of crime, being a homeless prostitute, and a drug addicted teacher, as well as Matt writing his first joke ever about Hasidic Jews while John just pokes fun at Jews. This episodes intro music was provided by Ice Cube, the best ICE.
