Thanks for joining us as Arnaldo, pastor at Anchor South West, launches a short series "Tragedy & Triumph" exploring the last week of the life of Jesus.
As Jesus approached his last week in the city of Jerusalem, he knew exactly what he was walking into; his disciples and the crowds on the other hand were expecting Jesus to lead a military coup that would overthrow the oppressive reign of the Roman occupying government.
They were expecting war horses, Jesus came riding on a donkey's colt; they were looking for a violent revolution but the revolution that Jesus was to bring was one that would be accomplished through is own death, not that of his enemy.
Join us as Arnaldo walks through Luke 19:28-48 and shows us that God often shows up in the midst of our disappointments. We pray you are blessed and hope to see you at one of our Sunday Gatherings soon.
