In episode 6 of Noah's Arc my thoughts were kinda all over the place, some may say scrambled. First I tell you why dog friendly beaches grind my gears. Then why the notion of “paying your dues” fires me tf up. We segue to talking about conversations that are vs aren’t happening on LinkedIn; then end off sharing how I’m sure this is the beginning of the end for my current job.

Episode 5 of Noah's Arc is aptly named “Hot Honey” cause that’s how it feels. At first I come at you with some heat- not at you, you’re not the problem, but some things do “fire” me up and “grind my gears.” Afterwards though, is a treat, some honey. Episode 4 of Noah’s Arc starts a lil sour. Elon Musk fires me up (pause), I get existential about the origins of greed, and living in the ai revolution. Upon thinking of the title for episode 3, it dawned on me what I talk about: A whole lotta bullshit happening in life. Work continues to piss me off, or… fire me up wink. The nature of social media grinds my gears; and lemme tell you why I think we can’t win in this job market.

I've gone through some changes, work changes in particular that suck but are dope at the same time. WHAT IT DO, IT'S SEASON 2!

The only way to improve yourself is to reflect on your current and past behavior. Peep the patterns, the way you think, what you default to; if you're conscious you'll grow and that's what I try to be. Understanding the psychology helps you understand the why's. When you understand why's, it's easier to move forward. Hopefully my introspection inspires you, or you even feel some closure by relating to what I struggle with.

I'm back! It's been a long minute, I know; but I needed to step away. I ain't better than ever but I'm doing better and feeling fired up to podcast again! In this episode we celebrate hitting episode 10 by talking about bullshit interviews and a wild experience "onboarding" at a company. I also update you on my life now. This episode I let y'all in a lil. I had great momentum going with the uploads, what happened?? The job search man, it kicks your ass. The rejection, time wasting, waiting, disrespect, it gets you down. And when you're down it's hard being positive and uplifting, almost impossible. I don't like faking positivity anyways and I realized some wisdom in my situation: A few bad experiences can't shape you into a worse person. They didn't happen so you assume everyone will be or do the same. They happened so you can save yourself when you notice the pattern in the future. So lately I've gotten some wack recruiters, but I know there's one out there that'll be eager to help me find the healthy work environment I'm looking for.
