Noaks Ark-podden

Dags för ett historiesvep om Noaks Ark. Från att ha arbetat med svår sjukdom och död till att idag arbeta med ett virus som går att behandla så bra att man kan leva ett friskt liv. Hur har den resan sett ut?

Kanslichef Jukka Aminoff har varit anställd på Noaks Ark sedan start samtalar med Bodil Sjöström, journalist och författare med mångårig erfarenhet av hiv och aids.

I Sverige lever nästan 140 barn och ungdomar med hiv. Det finns också många barn i familjer där en eller båda föräldrarna har hiv. Oavsett vem som lever med hiv berörs hela familjen. I Sverige har alla barn och vuxna tillgång till kostnadsfri antiviral behandling. Men tystnaden och skammen kring sjukdomen finns kvar. De vuxnas rädsla och förutfattade meningar överförs ofta till barnen.

Vendela Hagås barnsjuksköterska och familjeterapeut, berättar om familjernas olika utmaningar och om det helt unika material som tagits fram för att lättare samtala med barn och unga kring hiv.
