The responses were very similar and that's why I wanted to dedicate a podcast episode to sharing all the practical tips on how to accomplish tasks during those few few months to honestly, that first year of your baby's life. Friends, I prayed and asked God for a great sleeper with my third baby. My first two boys were difficult and I stumbled through the process of helping them sleep well. 

Our third son has been the easiest, by far,  (including the 4 month sleep regression) but it hasn't come by some type of magic formula. And from one mom to another, I'm here just sharing my experiences and I pray that it helps you with your baby also!

Friend, I have tried so many times to do it all - to prove myself to...myself. I thought that if I figured everything out on my own that it would somehow provide me the value I was seeking. I thought that if I kept it all together that everything would be okay. What I didn't see was that even when everything wasn't okay that my worth was unshakeable in Christ. What I didn't see was that life was still so beautiful and good even when I messed up as a mom.

The hard truth about motherhood is that we are not the hero. We are not the one that we should be boasting in at the end of every day. We will never have enough patience or strength on our own efforts. We will never have all the answers to challenges we face with our children. We will never have the capacity to fulfill every single need around us.
