  • Gossip Forums and Restorative Justice
    It's a special Indonesian episode!
Possibly long overdue, but this week, the news in Indonesia has been a little more than just Covid and Bali. We're talking about the forum that bashes public figures and our takes on how to be a mindful gossip lover.
Still, on the topic of a public figure, we discussed the misplaced parade that celebrated the-infamous-Dangdut-star's day of "freedom". Maybe it's about time to introduce restorative justice?
The articles that kept us on track:
    DetikForum:
Detik to investigate cyberbullying, doxing experienced by influencers on detikForum
    Sexual Assault and Prison:

  • Sustainability, No Showers, and Kanye West
Hello, lovely people and hello to the beautiful mother earth!
This week's episode is filled with one-of-a-kinds. The kind that you need to hear, the kind that you wish you've heard, and the kind that you wish you didn't but always hear.
Starting off with the first topic, five important words. The Earth is on fire! What do we do? But also, what do companies decide to do with that fact? Putting sustainability in mind, we took the second course on celebrities and their (non?) bathing habits.
And for this week's dessert, we talked about the one celebrity couple that never shies away from the media. Non-other than the pop culture queen and king themselves, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, along with their relationship status.
The articles mentioned in this episode:
    The Stinky Investigation:

  • The Wild Chronicle of Armie Hammer
Words of caution: This episode contains references to sensitive issues that our listeners may find distressing; including sexual assault, violence, and cannibalism. Please listen accordingly.

    Male Dominance.

Two words that sum this week's episode in a nutshell. Unlike life, in this episode, we're talking about the flaws of men. Specifically, a century of the hidden flaws of the Hammer family. From embezzlement to murder. And yes, this includes the Armie Hammer controversy that's stopping people from calling him by his name.

  • Love Island and Anti-Vaxxers
    Hello again, beautiful people!
Every choice comes with a consequence and your life choices define your destiny. And I just had a mini life crisis writing those sentences omg why did I do this to myself. Long story short, in this episode, we're talking all about decisions.
To kick things off, we talked about Coco Austin's decision on breastfeeding her 5-year-old daughter with rapper, Ice T. We introduced two new segments to the podcast - first off it's 'random opinions' where we bring up Netflix and our ((honest)) opinions on their original shows and movies from Stranger Things to Cooking with Paris!
Ending on a storytelling segment where we discussed the decisions that anti-vaxxers made and tried to understand the whys behind it.

  • Pick Me Olympics
    Happy weekend, beautiful people!
We kicked off this week's episode with a talk on the Pick-Me Girl trend happening all over social media and how it relates to feminism. Still in the topic of feminism-adjacent, we brought up the controversial magazine headline that caused model, Tess Holliday, to fight back on Instagram from being voted "the worst beach body of 2021" We're with you, Tess!
And then, with the closing of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics happening this weekend, we discussed what is actually going on with the Olympics. Speaking of which, should it even have happened this year?
We notice the various underlying events happening and so, next week, we'll dissect a lot more of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics from feminism to mental health.

  • Cry For Me, EURO 2020
Welcome back to another episode with Noisy Brunch!
This week, we are serving the dishes that made us let off some serious steam.
We began with a video from Channel 4 entitled "Is it Selfish to Have Kids? | Would You Rather". We talked about our views on the matter along with the whys. Then, we discussed the team that didn't quite come home in the EURO 2020 final but created a home for more. We're talking about the game, the selfish act of the "fans", and the support given by others.

  • An Honest Conversation About Gratitude
    Hello, all you beautiful people!
In this episode, we talked about two topics that hit too close to home. We began with the petition created by a pro-Asian activist to cancel a segment in The Late Late Show with James Corden, Spill Your Guts and its culturally "insensitive" remarks. Then, we moved along to the effects of being grateful, especially as women. Should we feel grateful for being allowed to live? Spoiler alert, there are cons to it!
Here are the links to the articles (and the petition!) mentioned in this episode:
    Spill Your Guts:

    Gratefulness:

Should women be grateful for help at home?
Speaking of being grateful, we are thoroughly grateful (honestly!) for all the supports and loves that we've been receiving for Noisy Brunch!

    Hello, everyone!
It's week two, and the dramas are here for you.
We started this episode with the ever so lovely, Olivia Rodrigo. Talking about her talents, new album, love life and fangirling about her international success. Good for you, Olivia! Then, we played around with our imagination and discussed how to act when meeting a celebrity IRL. Lastly, we talked about the tumultuous scandal of Erika Jayne and her husband, Tom Girardi, with the Lion Air plane crash victims, and how flex culture might influence this embezzlement case.
