Sandra takes us through her journey from growing up in a strict Egyptian household to taking the leap into nomad life after realising backpacking in Barcelona was actually cheaper than living in LA. With just a few thousand dollars and a one-way ticket at the age of 21, she proved you don't need to be rich to travel.
Sandra got real with us about leaving her her career in the tech industry to build her travel app Roam and dive into content creation. The ups, the downs, the money worries, being the family rebel child – she shared it all! What stuck with us was how travel actually helped her anxiety instead of making it worse. If you've ever thought "I could never do that," Sandra's story will make you think again!
