Gina Coggin-Price and her father, John Coggin, practice together in Gadsden, Alabama. They run The Coggin Law Firm with the mindset of helping others. Rip Andrews is a trial lawyer who handles very tough cases. His firm handles complex cases for those who have been harmed or damaged. Sports have always been part of Greg Brewer’s life. In addition to joining the Alabama High School Athletic Association in 1985, from 1980-2001 Greg was the official basketball scorer for the University of Alabama Sports Information Department. The Florence native was also a former high school official in football, baseball and basketball, and for many years was the director of officials. Greg helped develop the AHSAA officiating program that’s currently in place. Officiating is a lost profession that Greg is helping to revive.  Greg shared some awesome insight into what it's like to be an official and how someone can get involved in officiating. Thanks, Greg, for spending some time with Bernard today!

Charles Morgan, III, has always loved fishing and his hometown of Birmingham. Growing up in Birmingham during the turbulent civil rights era, Morgan saw firsthand the impact on society of doing the right thing.  Morgan's father,  the late civil-rights attorney Charles "Chuck" Morgan Jr. , was on the forefront of many such legal issues. Bernard talked with Charles about Chuck's Fish, the successful restaurant he founded and named after his late father. They also discussed about growing up in Birmingham, his love of fishing and many other topics that have helped to define his life.  What a fascinating conversation. David Sher loves Birmingham, Alabama. For many years, David has been the publisher of Comeback Town, which gives a voice to the people of Birmingham. Birmingham has always been called the “City of Perpetual Promise.” The purpose of Comeback Town is to help fulfill that promise. David and Bernard discussed what's going in the Magic City and where it's heading. This was an enlightening conversation.
