On the season one finale of the On This Day Entertainment podcast, the creator and star of I, Nomi, April Kidwell, and Ashley break down an underrated gem from 1995 - Showgirls. April performed as Nomi in Showgirls: The Musical, as well as Jessie Spano in Bayside: The Musical. April bravely shared her journey from getting fired from a job due to reporting a celebrity for sexual abuse to the creation of her one woman show, I, Nomi. It gets dark, but we have our nontraditional feminist icon, Nomi, a Ver-sayce dress, and our best friend Molly to help us through it all. Thanks to April for sharing her #MeToo story and showing us that our trauma can be turned into something positive, as well as all of you Fanny Packers for supporting season one of the On This Day Entertainment Podcast!
