Annie is striving to bring attention to the issue of criminalized survivorship and is pushing for the passage of the Oklahoma Survivors Act. Samantha was abducted and imprisoned by her stalker. 

After they met in college, Samantha realized a man had an unhealthy obsession with her when he started following her around and leaving her unwanted gifts. In 2014, when he pursued her across state lines, Samatha secured a six-year restraining order against him. Upon returning to her hometown six years later, she noticed his presence, but he kept his distance and remained silent. However, the eerie calm shattered one fateful night in October 2022 when he forcibly entered her home and abducted her, imprisoning her in a homemade cage; getting the idea from the TV Show "You." Samantha is bravely sharing her story of survival and unimaginable trauma.
