The National Center for Charitable Statistics (NCCS), reports there are more than 1.5 million non-profit organizations  registered in the U.S. This number includes public charities, private foundations, and other types of non-profit organizations, including chambers of commerce, fraternal organizations, and civic leagues.  With them having to serve a more diverse population thanks in large part to the Covid-19 restrictions, the leadership of executive directors of non-profits is critical to ensuring superior performance by the employees who work in the sector and while providing optimal service to the people they serve.
