This week Nolan is joined by Amaru, Vocalist of the New York band Non-Residents! The members of the band are all from Chile but relocated to the US in 2015 and in 2019 Amaru and his brother Roberto (Drummer) formed the band. Late in 2021 Non-Residents released their debut album "Against Police Brutality" which blends Metal, Hardcore, Thrash, Punk and traditional Chilean music into one of the best metal records of the year. We discuss relocating to the biggest city in America, navigating the political climate (While avoiding making the music political), tapping into the state of America to write the album and much more.
