This week I take a deep dive into the wild adventure that is menopause with my guest Elaine Le Feuvre.

Elaine is a passionate advocate for the Red School, which teaches women to work with their menstrual cycles, and for the Wisewoman’s Journey through menopause, seeing it as a deeply spiritual rite of passage.

Known across the Channel Islands for her work as an aromatherapist, Elaine has led a rich and varied life. She has lived in South Africa and the UK, returning to Guernsey in her 30s where she worked in the prison service before coming back to her roots as a holistic therapist. Her practice now weaves together aromatherapy, reiki, and her work as a qualified cacao facilitator.

Her work is inseparable from her own healing journey. After experiencing severe menstrual symptoms since her teenage years, she had a defining moment when she discovered she was living with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), a cyclical, hormone-based mood disorder. From that point, she committed to understanding her body more deeply, exploring both holistic and hormonal approaches, and grounding herself in spiritual practice to navigate the physical and emotional intensity of PMDD.

Elaine is deeply committed to encouraging women to share their hormonal journeys and reclaim their stories.

There are moments when the path beneath your feet stops being metaphor and becomes instruction.

In this week’s episode I’m chatting with the incredible creatrix that is Chris Park.

Chris lives on an organic farm in the Vale of the White Horse, Oxfordshire. His work is wide and varied, from arts and craft, ancient technologies, experimental archaeology and educational projects, to eco-building, professional storytelling, folk music and raising the awareness of the heritage of beekeeping. He is a founder member of the Beekeeping History Trust, a skep beekeeper, skep-maker and a practicing Druid. 

Often seen extolling the virtues of mead, metheglin and other traditional honey drinks, Chris tries to live an ecological lifestyle, growing some food, fetching wood and spring water, living close to the earth. 

Around the fire, if the stars are aligned, he can be a purveyor of ageless words, a seeker of the world's most ancient truths, lies and everything in between. You might call him a mellifluous fabulist, an erudite druid or a cunning linguist… but put simply he's just a decent fella, and a good storyteller, with tales for young and old, the innocent and the experienced, garnished with delicious music and song.

It might seem counterintuitive, but this moment in time is such an incredible opportunity to be the best version of yourself and to do heroic things.

Be the person who hid the family in your attic. Be the person who smuggled people through the checkpoint in the car. Be the person who kept squirrelling food away and who shared your last bit of bread. Be that person.

Be the person that people are going to talk about in 50 years’ time... about what a courageous, awesome human you were because of all the bold and selfless things you did.

Don’t let them control the narrative. Don’t let them create your world for you. You create your own world, and you create them into living in a world where they are facing justice and getting their comeuppance. Know, with every fibre of your being, that this is going to happen.

This is a turning point in history. It will be remembered in 50 years’ time... in a hundred years’ time. We’ll be talking about this moment in time.

This week I’m in conversation with Claire Cole, who runs The Centre in Guernsey, where she and her horses hold deeply intuitive shamanic healing sessions. In her work the horses are not simply present... they are active participants in the process, sensing energy, responding to what is unspoken, and helping guide people gently back towards themselves. There is something profoundly moving about watching these huge, sensitive creatures mirror what is happening inside us.

It feels like an apt way to open this new season... especially in the year of the fire horse. Claire herself carries that same quiet strength. She is a gentle, gorgeous soul with a real powerhouse energy behind her work, and our conversation wandered through the magic of horses, the nature of healing, and the unexpected ways transformation can appear when we slow down enough to listen. It was a joy to sit down with her, and a beautiful way to begin the next chapter of the podcast.

Nonsense in the Chaos is back! It feels so good to be back behind the microphone. I’ve missed you all.

This week I discuss how I can feel the old stories cracking. Institutions are wobbling, certainty is dissolving, and the world feels increasingly unreal. The question becomes: how do we live truthfully inside the chaos?

I’ll explore power, myth, creativity, spirituality, and the courage to think differently. Time to move beyond outrage and into action. Not by fighting every battle, but by making your own pixel bright: choosing beauty, kindness, imagination, and integrity in a world that often rewards the opposite.

This is the hour to be bold, provocative, mythical, and journey into the stories of the land — dragon energy, ancient symbols, creative awakening, and the quiet revolution of reclaiming meaning for ourselves.

The systems may be shaking. Good. Something new is being written.

The final episode of Nonsense in the Chaos for Season Two is a pause at the threshold. As Yule tide gathers us inward, this week’s episode explores the numerology of the coming year: a universal ten, the number of the radiant body, the moment in the alchemical process when lead is turned into gold.

This is a conversation about community, about scale, and about agency. When the bigger picture feels overwhelming, there is still the work to do on our own pixel, making it as bright, clear and generous as it can be. That, in itself, is a powerful action.

I’ll be stepping away after this episode for a digital detox and some much-needed Creation Hibernation time, returning in March. Until then, this feels like a hand on the shoulder and a steadying breath. We’ve got this. And next year asks us to step up. Not alone, but together.

And can we just take a moment to enjoy the fact that I’m ending the season on the number 69. 

No, I will not grow up.

This week’s podcast weaves together the quiet magic of legacy, continuity and the unseen threads that connect us. In It’s a Wonderful Life, George Bailey never becomes wealthy or achieves the grand future he imagined. Instead, he receives something far greater: perspective. This week’s episode turns that lens towards the real world as I say goodbye to a friend who has passed away and reflect on a life well lived. We are each part of the great symphony of life, and every note—no matter how humble—is vital to its glorious crescendo.
