Welcome back to a new episode of Nonstop Baseball. Adam was unavailable for this weekend pod so sadly you do not get his word vomit here today. Join Brian, Adam, and Noah, as the final days of September baseball near their close, the playoff picture becomes more and more clear, and we discuss everything that we think mattered this last week. We have all kinds of cards to talk about this week. The Cards of St. Louis are on a massive winning streak and trying to secure their place in the playoffs. The wild card is looking spicier and spicier as the titans of AL East just keep swapping places. Lastly, the card that held a whole bunch of the Blue Jays scouting information is now in the hands of the Rays. Gearing up for post-season baseball is always a good time and this year has been no different, unless you're a Padres fan, in which case, I'm sorry :(

Welcome to the most biased episode of the Nonstop Baseball Podcast yet. Join Adam and Brian as they gush over the Blue Jays and Giants because Noah wasn't there to stop them. Of course there is talk about other happenings in baseball, like Lindor having a big game against the Yankees, Scherzer pitching like the absolute madman that we all know he is, and the Baltimore grounds crew getting kicked off the field by the umps. We are in the thick of some major post season pushes, and some teams that thought they were in are out, while others have battled their way back into the conversation. Who do we think makes it? Who are the scariest teams to face in the playoffs? Why is Tatis getting yelled at in the dugout? If you want to know, you'll have to tune in and find out. 

Brian is once again absent from this episode, but that's ok I'll go over what he would have had to say. He would be happy that the Giants are the first team to 90 wins and have expanded their lead on the division, and he probably would've had a lot to say about his two favorite people named Brandon. With that out of the way, join Adam and Noah as they go over the happenings in the rest of the league; those happening including but not limited to: the Red Sox are sick again, the Blue Jays are beating good teams and losing to bad teams, Larry Walker is still really into Spongebob, Gary Sanchez runs away from tagging people, and Jacob deGrom runs away from the media. But unlike deGrom and Sanchez, please don't run away from us, stay a while and listen to our baseball related ramblings. Also the Brewers threw a combined no hitter like 20 minutes after we finished recording so we didn't mention it, sorry, we are, unfortunately, not able to see into the future.

Another great week of baseball as Shohei hits more homeruns and steals home, America's Team™ makes their case for a playoff spot, the Jays win a bunch of games yet remain in 4th, the Giants lose their grip on first place then get it back, and then all the stuff that happened with everybody's favorite New York baseball team. The Mets decided this week that instead of being a normal and functional baseball franchise, that instead they would get boo'd so hard by their fans that they felt the need to boo them back, then have their owner party a little too hard and get a DUI; just another day for the Mets. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah as they talk about how much of a mess that team is, and if they've still got a chance to shake the hangover and make a push for the playoffs. It's a fun episode, capped off with some trivia and 'Who Really?', so get comfy and have a listen, you won't be disappointed. 

Brian woke up the morning of this recording and decided that instead of hanging out and chatting about baseball, he would go play golf. Now, normally I wouldn't appreciate such a thing but it feels poetic because I think this is what the Orioles have been doing all year, as they seem to keep waking up and wanting nothing to do with the sport. Join Adam and Noah as we discuss this bad baseball team, as well as other bad baseball teams, and even some good baseball teams. One of those bad teams is the Mets, who got absolutely destroyed this last couple weeks, kinda like how Miguel Sano absolutely destroyed the record for longest homerun hit at Fenway. We talk about all that, and also go over some potential Hall of Fame hopefuls, some players who are putting up some really dang good numbers, and a game between the Padres and Dodgers that honestly, I wasn't sure would ever actually end, and frankly wish it had gone on even longer because it was one of the most beautiful disasters of a baseball game that I have ever had the privilege to see.

Adam and the Baltimore Orioles do not have much in common but as of now they are both down bad. The Orioles are currently on a horrendous losing streak and Adam's Internet was batting 0-3 on the day of recording. Sometimes it happens. So Brian and Noah dive into the past week of Baseball ranging from the Baltimore Doo Doo Poo Poo's to Miggy hitting the big 500. The Boys even threw in a solid WAP reference for good measure.
