Nope, Never Saw It

Bliss on The Beach? Maybe at first, but when love interests materialize and sharks attack, what first seemed like a paradise quickly devolves into a hell on Earth (thanks for letting me get a little poetic). Join Gina and Sonia as they sip their own Bliss on the Beach, and discuss the finer (and less finer) points of Danny Boyle's romance/adventure/thriller/travel film, The Beach.

What is this movie about? Does it matter? Pour yourself a Dark and Stormy while you embark on a journey with Gina and Sonia through a tear in the fabric of the 4th dimension only to find yourself in a tangent universe tasked with saving the world. You have 28 days. Oh, and say hi to Frank the Bunny. This is Donnie Darko.

Gina and Sonia will be back in February with all new episodes! Until then, enjoy this revisit (not reloading, just to be clear) of The Matrix #Trinityismyhero

The broadway musical didn't work out, but the movie is still a classic. As we continue our stroll down memory lane, let's revisit another one of Sonia's picks: Almost Famous. Enjoy!

We'll be back in February with Sonia's latest pick, Donnie Darko.

Happy New Year! We are taking a little break during the month of January, but don't worry! We'll be back in February with our newest episode - and a Sonia pick - Donnie Darko. Since we are starting February off with a Sonia pick, we thought it would be fun to revisit some of her past picks this month. We're starting with her first pick of the series, Face/Off. This is Sonia's favorite movie. This is not Gina's favorite movie. We had a lot to say. Enjoy!

Mix yourself a Naked and Famous and check out our new episode where we peel back the layers of The Full Monty. Clothing optional.

Pump up the Pomp and Circumstance, pour yourself a Graduate, and listen to Gina and Sonia discuss the finer points of Booksmart. PS - John Mulaney, thanks for listening.

Put on your favorite flannel and doc martins, pop in a Pearl Jam CD, pour yourself a Black Hole Sun, and enjoy the chocolate bitters as Gina and Sonia discuss the finer points of their third Cameron Crowe classic, Singles. And if you're wondering where you last saw your garage door opener, perhaps you gave it away along with your heart. PS - John Mulaney, thanks for listening.

Ever wonder why Winston's part is kind of small, what the green blob really is, or what the difference is between "shaken" and not "stirred"? Gina and Sonia explore all these questions and MORE in their discussion about the classic family thriller comedy, Ghostbusters. So pour yourself a Manhattan, and while you're listening, if you see something strange in your neighborhood, who you gonna call? PS - John Mulaney, thanks for listening...

Another Julia Roberts film to talk about at length! So line up your hand towels, pour yourself a Cape Codder, and relax as Gina and Sonia discuss unpredictable weather, places to discard wedding rings, and ways to startle someone. It's time to delve into Sleeping With the Enemy. PS - John Mulaney, thanks for listening.
