Paramount Pictures released Norbit to theaters on February 9, 2007. Brian Robbins directed the film starring Eddie Murphy, Thandie Newton, and Terry Crews.
‘Norbit’ Movie Summary
Norbit scrapes the bottom of the barrel for Eddie Murphy, and his multiple character so called “comedies”. Sex innuendos, fat jokes and blatant racist stereotypes are all part of this non-joke atrocity that actually made box office dollars.
Norbit arrives on the step of Mr Wongs Chinese diner, doubling as an orphanage. He enjoys a happy life there while also making best friends with Kate, but eventually she leaves after she’s adopted.
Now dysfunctional and alone, Norbit stumbles through life. One day, Rasputia protects him from bullies in the playground, and they eventually end up getting married. However, Rasputia controls him, even into marriage.
