It can be hard to understand the whole picture if you only have a single puzzle piece. Likewise, as Joseph was in prison, his circumstances didn't appear to be "blessed." But that didn't mean God didn't have a plan for him.

Joseph was young, powerful, and good-looking. And those qualities brought about a temptation that many of us face - sex.

As we learn from Joseph, God would rather you go to prison with your integrity than remain in power through compromise.

Today we see that your home life doesn't have to be who you are. God wants to define you.

Your actions, whether indulgence or self control, may have affects well beyond what you can see in the moment. Your self control today may pay dividends later. Your lack of self control today may destroy your future.
