True power does not come through the ways the world would normally think it. It actually comes through loss, because what we lose is incomparable to what we gain in Christ.

The gospel creates a relational culture which takes our minds off of ourselves and puts them on Christ and others. That leads us to live an exemplary life which not only blesses ourselves but blesses those around us.

A person becomes a new creation when they come to Christ. As a result, and empowered by God Himself, Christians are to seek purity that contrasts the world and brings joy to the soul. The time is now, church.

Jesus set an example for us to follow in laying His life down for us. He also provides the power for us to do it. Think of the difference it would make as we count others as more important than ourselves!
