Today is a multipart episode about the Blitz (bombing) of Bootle and Liverpool during World War Two. It features my late Grandmother, Elizabeth Clarke, who tells us about her experiences of the Blitz and working in an Armaments Factory. I also visit the site of an air raid shelter in Bootle that took a direct hit, killing dozens of people and finish with some general history of the time.

Today I speak about how I have used diet to change my life since my early 20s to varying degrees of success. I have a rare genetic disorder that has caused problems since I was 23; I have had anxiety-depression issues since 29; and high blood pressure since hitting 40. I talk about the things that have really helped me and urge others to take a big interest in diet to improve their lives. Change can be challenging but getting into good habits and being curious can yield huge results.
