Greg, Fred, Scott, and Daniel helped walk us through this passage which talks about the roles of men and women in marriage. Peter puts a particular emphasis on how wives should love their husbands if the wives have become Christians before their husbands.

Pharaoh is never named in Exodus. However, God does tell us the names of two women who risked their lives to save children. What can we learn from this about godly mothers who fear God and love their little ones?

Scott powerfully reminds us that God's goodness and mercy follow us during all the days of our lives. This is true on the sunniest and the darkest days.

Jerry, Fred, and Greg helped walk us through this passage about honoring the governing authorities (even those who are personally dishonorable), and enduring unjust suffering like Jesus.

Jerry, Scott and Mark helped walk us through the topics of immature Christians, the role of church leaders, heavenly rewards, and the fact that 'all things are yours'.

We started Exodus on Sunday! Moses writes of Israel that "the more they were oppressed, the more they multiplied" (Exodus 1:12a). The same is true today.

Jerry, Fred, Greg, and Scott did a great job leading us! Here Peter shows us that we are to see that Jesus was rejected by men but chosen by God. The same is true for God's people in this world: rejected by the world but God's "chosen race" (v. 9).

Jerry, Scott, Mark, and Tyler helped walk us through all of 1 Corinthians 2. The main theme is that we cannot come to the knowledge of God by human wisdom and eloquence but through a display of the Spirit's power.

In the story of Joseph it is easy to miss how central Judah is to the story. Judah begins as a complete mess. He suggests Joseph be sold into slavery and is sexually out of control (see 37-38). However, the Messiah is promised to be the Lion of the tribe of Judah (see 49:8-10). How could this be? Come witness the transforming grace of God in the life of Judah and his brothers!
