The Women's Health Protection Act, which is one of the most radically pro-abortion pieces of legislation to be voted on in our nation's history, was shot down yesterday in the Senate by a 49-51 vote. Although the vote was not seen by either side as likely to pass (60 votes are needed for that), it was meant to be a way for all senators to put their cards on the table regarding the unborn. This was intended to impact the midterm elections this year.

The mere possibility in the news of Roe v Wade being overturned this summer is astonishing (see from our church here and from Al Mohler here). So on this Mother's Day we discussed the issue of motherhood, abortion, childrearing, and adoption.

Daniel 9:24-27 is certainly the most difficult passage to interpret in the book of Daniel (which is saying something!). It is also one of the most difficult passages to interpret in the entire Old Testament.
