Christians often struggle to understand exactly how or if the Sabbath laws apply to us today. In this sermon we examined 10 passages from Genesis to Revelation that help us make sense of the Sabbath as New Covenant believers.

The three topics we covered today concerning Scripture are extremely important but often not understood properly. Understanding these helps grasp the meaning and significance of the doctrine of Sola Scriptura.

Scott led us through a wonderful exposition of the first three of the 10 Commandments. Once we understand the context of this familiar passage there are many points of application to our lives.

Sunday school started back today! We began a series on the book Bible Doctrine by Wayne Grudem. The first week we covered the topics 1) What is Systematic Theology (and why it's not just for Bible nerds)? and 2) What is the Doctrine of Scripture (and why it's not boring)?
