Home health workers have historically been undervalued and underpaid. But that may be changing.
The “Fight for15” is a national campaign to boost the income of low-wage workers. Locally, it’s being spearheaded by the Service Employees International Union, including hundreds of home health care workers, who, according to a visiting academic, have a long history of being undervalued.
