"There were two crowds in the text found in Luke, chapter 7.... One crowd followed in the footsteps of Jesus, full of glory as they watched signs and miracles before their very eyes; the others desperately needed a touch from Him, as they headed to the tombs to bury a loved one."
Pastor Jeff teaches the significance of Jesus stepping in at that moment. A widowed mother's life is changed in an instant, as she is handed back her revived son. Pastor Jeff reminds us that oftentimes Jesus will place Himself in between us and the thing that will lead to our spiritual demise--whether it's a person, a situation, or a project that will entomb and trap us. It's time to dismiss the lie that Jesus doesn't care about our situations, and hold onto the knowledge that His ways are better than our ways, and His thoughts are better than our thoughts.
