Mark 5:21 - 43 contains a compelling story of Jesus, Jairus and his daughter, and an unforeseen hemorrhagic woman who acts in deep faith. Therein, we see a case of desperation in Jairus which Jesus in turn uses for his edification, and consequently ours as His saints. In the text, Jesus is accused of violating the Sabbath laws, but He responds by stating that the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath, and that He is Lord even of the Sabbath.
