The Spirit’s primary vehicle for moving and speaking in the life of the believer is the Bible. The Spirit of God, through the Word of God, works in us to shape us into the kind of people God wants us to be, and leads us to do the things God wants us to do.

Far too many believers have lost their way in realizing the freedom and joy that Christ came to bring. They are bound by laws, traditions, doctrines and guilt. As we come to the close of the series on Authentic Christianity, we now turn to the key to living in freedom.

Today we celebrate our victory over death brought about by the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ! God accepted His sinless sacrifice and brought Him forth victorious over death! But more than that has been given. We also have received the power to walk in "newness of life." To do that, we need to use a spiritual lens to change the way we view ourselves and the world around us.

All in the span of seven days, Christ will go from exaltation and coronation to vilification to crucifixion, and finally from resurrection to glorification. The events of that first Palm Sunday mark the beginning of the Passover, and the week of passion for Jesus.

God was not wrathful when there was no sin. God’s wrath is not an essential aspect of his character. Rather, God’s wrath is the product of God’s holiness and justice.

The loss of the “fear of the Lord” has created a lack of respect, and therefore a reflection of the truths of God. Rediscovering the “fear of the Lord” is needed by both Christians and non-Christians.

We are not to mourn as those who have no hope, but to discover the hope that leads to praise.

Praising the Lord is not a casual, meaningless activity. There is power in praise that displays the glory of the Lord and functions as the overflow of a heart that is completely focused on God
