Purpose: To see that it was necessary for the Jesus to celebrate the Passover, be betrayed, and ultimately to redefine the Passover as a memorial for His death on the cross that looks forward to the final celebration when He returns.

Focus: on living ready for the coming judgment by loving Christ as we love his people in their great need.

Focus: on the importance of living ready during this time of delay in Christ’s return by being faithful stewards of all that God has entrusted to us.

Focus: to call us to live ready – faithful and wise – in light of Christ’s sure and unexpected return in severe judgment.

Focus: on helping us live ready for Christ’s coming by resisting the signs of false teachers and by keeping our love from growing cold amidst coming suffering.

Focus: on calling us to repent of our pharisaical pride that brings the woeful judgment of Christ upon us.

Calling the church to think and act about abortion in light of God’s character.
