hope in Jesus power and mercy as we pray.

Focus: To run the race in such a way that we hear "well done my good and faithful servant!"

Focus: to call us to repent of our lack of faith in Jesus as the Christ who cares

for us and has taken care of us that we might pray expectantly and not worry

about our needs

Focus: calling the church to firmly believe in the bodily resurrection of Christ as the basis for their own hope that prevails against sin and death

Purpose: to remind us of the gospel, that we might be stand firm in it and be

humbled by it.

Focus: to show how the love of God builds up the church by following the God

given order for our worship gatherings.
