The Ordination of Baptism

Focus: to help us trust in God’s good provision towards us as His children such that we persevere in prayer and are free to love others.

Focus: to call us to extend the mercy we ourselves have received from Christ instead of being judgmental.

Purpose: to help people resist the temptation to worry and place their trust in God’s care, seeking first His kingdom.

Purpose: to radically re‐orient us towards a supreme affection, focus, and devotion upon God above all else, especially above Mammon (our money and our stuff).

Purpose: To see and savor the beauty of the gift of salvation and how through grace Christ redeems everything back into right relationship with the Father‐‐especially as it relates to our prayer life.
