The Book of Psalms is where the heart of humanity meets the heart of God. We’ll be challenged to trust God’s timing in our own lives and recognize His work in the ordinary and unexpected, and respond with faith, wonder, and purpose.

God used Caesar Augustus’ census and the Roman Empire’s setup to make sure the Messiah came exactly when the world needed Him. This week, we’ll see how God’s timing is never off and always part of His bigger plan.

Psalm 27 reminds us that God is our light and salvation, giving us courage even in the face of fear. When we keep our eyes on the Lord, fear loses its power and faith grows strong.

Psalm 1 lays out life’s two paths: the way of the wicked and the way of the righteous.
