Sermon: Even if the Bible is the Word of God how can a book that is so old have any relevancy in my life? How does ancient text from a culture that is so far gone impact my life? These are excellent questions and now here are the answers!
Scripture Passage: 2 Timothy 3:14-17
Speaker: Barry Kilmer
Series: Over the years the Bible has been affectionately known as "The Good Book". People believed it to be the Word of God. Over the recent decades this idea has eroded away. Each year a fewer and fewer people read it, believe it to be true or have any relevancy for life. Now, more than ever, is the time to stop and ask a simple question, "Is the Good Book God's Book and how does it relate to me?"
Sermon: In life we are faced with so many things that are not reliable; work, family, friends, etc. At some point almost everyone and everything has let us down. How can we look at the Bible and think that it is anything different? Is it really the Word of God? Can I count on it? Where will it lead me?
Scripture Passage: 2 Peter 1:12-13, 19-21
Speaker: Barry Kilmer
Sermon: Terrorism. Shootings. Hatred. Intolerance. The world is not getting better. What on earth is God doing? And what part does God want me to play?
Scripture Passage: Genesis 1:28
Speaker: Barry Kilmer
Sermon: You have a million things on the go, and because you don't want to be selfish, chances are you put everything and everyone ahead of yourself. That's potentially a fatal mistake. Maybe the key to being a better follower of Jesus, a better spouse, a better parent and a better human is actually putting yourself first when it comes to personal growth.
Scripture Passage: Mark 6:30-32
Speaker: Matt Pousseur

Speaker: Barry Kilmer
In this series we want to talk about how to work on what matters most in your life. What we will discover is that your character, not your competence, determines your capacity.
As much as no one likes to talk about it, one day we're all not going to be here anymore. So here's the socially awkward question: what will people be saying about you at your funeral? We will see that it might not be that hard to predict.
