In this episode I discuss sports and why I enjoy it. Sports teach us to dream, sports create drama, and gives us determination. As a wise mentor of mine once said “I will not quit by God’s grace I can do it. Although our world can worship sports and that is not good, we have positives we can take from sports and I discuss that today.

This episode I discuss the blessing of waking up everyday the color and change in the seasons God has given us. In other words it’s a “beautiful day in the neighborhood” thank God for each say and live it to its fullest.

In this episode I discuss the “Rat race” that is life with work, family, the internet. How life is like a rat race but wise Solomon who “had it all” reminds us to “fear God and keep his commandments”. (Ecclesiastes 12:12-14)

Who are your heroes? I share a few of mine from the sports world to missionaries and family members. A simple reminder today that those who are faithful and as Hebrews 11 says “by faith” those are heroes to me. So be a faithful whatever you are today, and your a hero in my book.

Don’t go to bed angry, sounds easy. Easier said than done, I share a couple of thoughts of times I’ve went to bed angry and it shows the next day. Thus, we talk about “be angry and sin not don’t let the sun go down on your wrath”. Ephesians 4:26, also “the anger of man doesn’t accomplish the righteousness of God” James 1. We can be angry but anger that sits and isn’t dealt with doesn’t love God and doesn’t show love to others.

In this episode I discuss the saying “the grass is not greener on the other side of the fence”. Whether it’s in relationships, jobs, life, whatever it might be. There are times when God moves us on, but by and large when things look better in the other side it’s really just perspective. Also, we take a look at 1 Corinthians 4:2 being faithful and proverbs 3:5-6 trusting in the Lord.

Have you ever heard someone say or maybe you have said, “it’s not my fault”? Prolly, we have all said that at one point and heard others say it as well. In this podcast I talk briefly about taking responsibility when we with don’t do something we should or do something we shouldn’t. I reference this is as old as sin, in Genesis 3 with Adam and Eve who also passed the buck. Like psalms 15 reminds us my prayer is that you and I are people who start taking responsibility when we need to. May you be blessed this day and let’s try to not pass the buck.

Today I discuss the challenges of making accurate calls and or decisions based on situations that we are not part of. Monday morning quarterback is good and needed but much wisdom is needed and as Christian’s we need to rely on one who does not change. Only God Himself who doesn’t change can pull off a correct Monday morning QB. Hebrews 13:8.
