Jesus told us that we would suffer persecution for His sake. He also promised us that it would all be for His glory and that it would reveal our faith and help us to deepen our faith.

The world we live today is desperately in need of a relationship with Jesus Christ. Our job has to not first be to talk about our faith, but to live it and let people around us see Christ in us.

As Christians, we have to stay mindful of the fact that this world is not our home. God calls us to do things differently so that people will take notice and want to know more about our faith.

Because of our faith in God, we can have a different kind of faith when trials come into our lives.

If we expect to build anything of significance with our lives, ministries, word, family or anything in our lives, we have to allow God to be the master builder and we must trust his plan.

God's design for our lives includes a foundation constructed out of the unconditional covenant love that He gives us in the person of His Son, Jesus.

We talk so much about foundations when we think of what God is building in our lives, but we forget to talk about how to prepare the soil. The parable of the wise and foolish builders reminds us that the site prep is just as important as the building.

Many of us have a sense that God can do anything in our lives, we just have trouble believing that He will. Faith and some level of doubt is a tension that many of us live in. Psalm 27 is a great example of that.

God desires that we worship Him. He deserves to be worshipped by us, as the Creator, and as the Loving Father.

God speaks to us in and through His creation, but it is His Word that gives us a more clear picture of His character.
