Today's show is jam packed with a lot of great announcements.
Leading off, it's the new Executive Director for MT 4-H Foundation Jane Wolery and part of the conversation she had with Northern Ag Network intern Hannah Konen.
Secondly, it's NCBA supporting U.S. Senator John Thune of South Dakota introducing his Food and Energy Security Act to combat the SEC's proposed emissions disclosure.
Last but not least, the Wheat Quality Council spring wheat and durum tour is showing the crop is looking good.

Combine sales were higher in June compared to May, a good indicator for the ag economy. However, Curt Blades with the Association of Equipment Manufacturers says that unit sales for the year are down, blaming supply chain issues.
I spoke with Drew Lesnik with Frontline Ag Solutions at the Conrad location about those issues and how farmers and ranchers can avoid long wait times after purchasing new ag equipment.

Applications for the NDSU and North Dakota Lamb and Wool Producers Association sheep starter flocks are due in by August 1. Youth chosen for the Starter Flock Discounted Loan Program will receive an interest-free loan to purchase 10 yearling Rambouillet ewes from the association.
NCBA started their member meeting in Reno this week and Ethan Lane - NCBA Vice President of Government Affairs, gives highlights of the meeting so far.
