Fi: Talvinen aamu valkeni aivan kuin jokin taianomainen hetki olisi laskeutunut Sápmin tuntureille.
En: A winter morning dawned as if a magical moment had descended upon the Sápmi mountains.

Fi: Lumihiutaleet leijailivat hiljaa, ja pakkanen nipisteli poskia.
En: Snowflakes drifted quietly, and the frost pinched at their cheeks.

Fi: Aila saapui reindeer tilalle, vatsa täynnä jännitystä.
En: Aila arrived at the reindeer farm, her stomach full of excitement.
