In this week’s episode of Northern Goal, Aberdeen come roaring back to beat 10-man Hibs, Ross County can’t hold on against Rangers and Caley Thistle have a bad day at Alloa. Meanwhile, Peterhead also struggled at Falkirk, Cove and Elgin both strengthened their positions in League 2 and – looking ahead - Buckie hope they won’t be trudgin’ back from Dudgeon after this weekend’s Highland League Cup semi-finals.

In this week’s episode, Aberdeen reach the Scottish Cup semi-finals with victory at St Mirren, but Scott McKenna’s season could be over, Caley Thistle are out of the national trophy and Ross County get back to Premiership business. Elsewhere, Peterhead and the Highland League fall foul of the weather and a picture starts to emerge of when Cove Rangers could be crowned kings of League Two, as Elgin also win.
