Fi: Talvi oli saapunut Suomen maaseudulle.
En: Winter had arrived in the Finnish countryside.

Fi: Lumi peitti peltoja ja koivuja.
En: Snow covered the fields and birches.

Fi: Järvet olivat jäässä.
En: Lakes were frozen.

Fi: Ilma oli raikas ja kylmä.
En: The air was fresh and cold.
