Northern Steel

Sorry for the delay (and that's more reason why this may be it). This may be the LAST episode. Time will tell. But in this episode we talk about attending the NFL draft, our quick thoughts on the first round, and our thoughts on the draft class itself for the Steelers. Then we predict the Steelers schedule (sans Rodgers who wasn't signed at the time) and finish with potentially our final send off. Thank you to all who have listened! #HEREWEGO

On this episode, we discuss our last position prospects before the draft. This time it's about the Quarterbacks. In another weak class since the last time they drafted *cough* Kenny Pickett *cough*. But better to prepare for anything. We'll see what they decide to do. #HEREWEGO

On this episode we continue going over draft prospects and this week is running backs! With Najee gone and the Steelers meeting with 8 running backs on pre-draft visits, there's a good chance a running back is drafted, and we have some favorites.

On this episode of the Northern Steel Podcast, we go over our next round of the 2025 prospects: Wide Receivers. Even though we share the hot take the maybe our wide receiver room is good, we acknowledge that it's big on the Steelers draft board as well as the possibility of maybe trading George Pickens...(PLEASE NO) #HEREWEGO

On this episode, we start diving in to the draft prospects leading up to the 2025 NFL draft and first up is Defensive Tackles! The big boys! The Steelers have needed a Casey Hampton replacement for then a decade and are looking for their new anchor. With Cam getting older, we highlight 6 players the Steelers could draft HIGH, in this upcoming draft.

Season 4! We are back at it to recap the Super Bowl and all the offseason "changes". Some good. A lot of bad. What kind of season are we in store for? Tired of the ranting. Let's find a way to have some fun! Road to 100 episodes! #HEREWEGO

On this episode, we discuss the loss to the Baltimore Ravens in the Playoffs. We also talk about the frutrations and problems that have plagued this team and how we would attempt to fix it. But, it seems as though changes may not come. Time for a break. See yinz in March. But if you're looking for some optimism for next year, I will quote Tomlin and tell you, "Save your time"

On this week's episode we discuss the constant struggles this team has faced over the past 5 years and highlight some things Coach Tomlin has said this week that signifies to us, that maybe it's to be done. We then try to give our keys to the game on how to beat the Baltimore Ravens in the Wildcard game, and give our picks for the rest of Wildcard Weekend. Hope to keep this thing going #Herewego

On this episode, we discuss the 3 game losing streak the Steelers took over the past 11 days. We talk about the problems that seem to be popping up again from the past 8 years and our unfortunate scare that we will not see change. Another year or another let down maybe but at least we have the playoffs again??? #herewego :(

On this episode of the Northern Steel Podcast, we discuss the loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Absolutely demolished, we highlight how the Steelers can try to avoid that going forward. (Spoiler Alert: They don't.) #HEREWEGO
