Pastor Stew has shown us that God has commanded us to love Him with all our heart, with all our mind and with all our soul. But He has also called us to reach out to our neighbour. We may help by simply listening. Erma Bombeck has said that there is a great shortage of listeners. We can help with skills that God has given us. We can't do everything, but we can do something.

Pastor Stew preached about our call to reach out to our neighbours. Sometimes it will be more important to meet the need of a neighbour than to attend church! We are the only Gospel that some people will read, and so our reaching out into the community is what God asks us to do, if we are willing to obey Him.

God is in charge. If anyone resists God's leading, spiritual and physical fatigue results. God knows what He is doing, even if it looks inconvenient.
