What did you think of today's message?

One time you decide, you're gonna read through the new Testament. I'm gonna begin at Matthew and you start reading and you said, I don't know who these people are.

What did you think of today's message?

Faith does not exist in clarities, but instead involves trusting in the midst of uncertainty.

What did you think of today's message?

Our beliefs have to be turned into tangible action, otherwise, they aren’t faith, they are just some ideas that we mentally assent too, but that we don’t really believe in.

What did you think of today's message?

We do not become people who do the right thing out of intention, but rather out of intentionally developing the right habits that enable us to respond with muscle memory when these moments arise.

What did you think of today's message?

Lament is an important part of the process of moving into new realities and like Lamentations, it requires us to name specifically what we have lost, what has been taken from us, what we will no longer experience.

What did you think of today's message?

When we feel displaced and something has been taken from us, the temptation is to look backwards and live in a way trying to reclaim what was, and in doing that, we miss what God might be doing if we live fully and present in the place where we now are.

What did you think of today's message?

Having a longer view of the life we are called to, raises us out of the immediate discouragements, the reflexive need to respond to the current calamity and the weight that we give to what’s happening right in front of us.

What did you think of today's message?

The last year has been difficult for many, at times possibly feeling abandoned and forgotten…we do not have to put on rose colored glasses, pretending that things are better or different than they really are - we don’t have to mouth words of just trusting in God no matter what, if that’s not where we’re genuinely at right now.

What did you think of today's message?

We have to be open to being reshaped and changed. If we resist, and cling to what we are used to, what we want, the way we think it should work…we may miss out on the new thing that God is doing.
