The book of Revelation opens our eyes to the fact that we are called to something so much bigger than ourselves - so much bigger than our jobs, our comfort, our happiness, our very lives.----God is recreating His creation. He is accomplishing His purpose. He is vindicating His people and His justice. He is bringing all history to a climax where every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.----Until that day, He has given a charge to His people - to those of us who today recognize the reality that Jesus Christ is Lord - He has given us the charge to be His witnesses and proclaim His message - this bittersweet message that He will use to bring His elect to Himself. May we be faithful to this call.
