We are called to join God in His mission to glorify His name among all peoples.

II Timothy 3:14-17 - The Scriptures are God’s indispensable, irreplaceable gift to His Church to lead us in the path of salvation.

Luke 1:67-80 - The birth of Jesus our Messiah ensures that we His people might live in peace and without fear.

John 1:14-18 - The Son of God became a man, Immanuel, that He might make known the Father to the world and graciously redeem those under condemnation.

John 1:6-13 - The incarnation of Jesus was the fulfillment of God’s promise to rescue His enemies that He might welcome them as sons and daughters.

John 1:1-5 - Jesus Christ is the Word, eternally co-existent with the Father and exclusively able to reflect His glory to the world. Through Him all things were made and in Him the hope of recreation resides.

Genesis 41 - Joseph’s thirteen years of misery come to an end as the Lord shows him favor and begins to unveil His plan to rescue Joseph, the Egyptians, the Israelites, and the nations. The providence of God through the seasons of Joseph’s life provides us with proof that He sees us, cares for us, and always does what is best.

Psalm 147 - The Lord is attentive to the needs of His people. Nothing escapes His watchful eye and nothing happens to us that is not superintended by His loving providence. He cares for the weak and hurting and His care for us should lead to

thankful praise.

Genesis 40 - Joseph’s very difficult life reminds us that though our trials are often prolonged and heartbreaking, our faithful Lord is at work for our joy and for the

good of others. This allows us to trust Him through injustice, heartbreak, and despair. He will never forsake us and will use our trials to change us, bless us, and then bless others through us.
