How quick are you to forgive the offenses that others have committed against you? In Matthew 18:21-35, Jesus answers Peter’s question about how often to forgive by telling a parable of the unforgiving servant. Every Christian can likely see themselves in this story- unwilling to give grace to others even when we freely accept it from God again and again. Jesus understood this temptation and offers his listeners a different way. 

Pastor Brian unpacks the parable of the Rich Fool, warning against greed and measuring life by possessions. Through this story Jesus calls listeners to guard their hearts and recognize God as the source of every blessing. The message challenges believers to steward what God gives by practicing gratitude, giving first, and trusting God rather than accumulating material good for selfish ambition. 

Jesus uses gardening imagery in John 15 to describe believers' relationship to the Father. In this sermon, Pastor Brian explores themes of pruning as loving care, growing the fruit of the Spirit, and establishing regular habits of spiritual discipline so that the love of God can overflow. 

Matthew 13:31–32 describes a brief parable of the mustard seed- painting a picture of how something that starts very small can grow into a vast and influential monument. This comparison to the kingdom of heaven is both encouraging imagery and a challenge to believers about their spiritual potential. 

Matthew 13 holds a short, but weighty parable about the surpassing value of God's kingdom. Are you willing to surrender everything in this life to inherit an eternal one? The kingdom of heaven requires sacrifice, but the reward is infinitely more valuable than the cost. 

Perhaps you've heard the story about the man who built his house on a pile of sand. Jesus uses this simple analogy to describe two types of people- the wise and the foolish. In this sermon, Pastor Brian invites listeners to examine their life’s foundation, prepare for inevitable storms, and take concrete step to trust and obey God's leading.
