The danger of the "lost" is that is so common. The urgency to "find" becomes overwhelming or numbing.

The feeding of 5000+ people by Jesus and his disciples gives us hope that God can help us care for the needs of others and still take care of us in the process!

The secret to receiving and continuing in the abundant life God has for us is an attitude of gratitude.

Those who tend to long for the good old days, the old wine, will lack the freshness and flexibility needed to accommodate what God is doing now. The new wine is available to those with new wineskin attitudes, who persist in seeking after Jesus, believe He forgives and restores, and praise Him when He does.

Jesus always breaks out of the boxes we try to put Him in. Whether He's honouring women in a male-dominated culture, attending weddings instead of hanging around the synagogue, or keeping the party going by bringing the wine, He is predictably unpredictable. We can learn a lesson from His mother when she said: WHATEVER He says to you, do it! (Text - John 2:1-11)

To be a disciple of Jesus requires all or nothing. Fortunately, what we give to Him He often gives back to us with His blessing!
