In Romans 8:31–39, Paul asks the rhetorical question on which this entire series is built, "What (or "who") can separate us from the love of Christ?" The obvious answer is "nothing." In fact, Paul elaborates that nothing, not angels or demons, present or future, or anything else in all creation, can keep us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Then why do Christ followers insist on being so separate from each other? Why are we so unloving even to each other? Why so much hate and fear and division? What can separate us from Christ's love? Nothing. What can separate us from each other? Far too much. Check out this message by David Sessions from Sunday, October 19, as we begin a new series entitled "What Can Separate Us?"
