Is losing your religion about doing whatever you want? On the other hand, you can lose the Christian religion by being overly religious. Religion and Irreligion: although at either ends of the lifestyle spectrum, could it be these two ways of life are actually coming from the same thing?

When it comes to Christianity there seems to be people on 2 different sides. One side says – I’m not a religious type and the reason the world is messed up is because of yours. The other side says I am religious and the reason the world is messed up is because of your lack of it. What happens if we discover they are both arguing from the same side and Christianity is different altogether? What if both were to “lose their religion?”

Jesus said you are the light of the world, a city on a hill. What could happen if Jesus’ followers went into the world to present a credible message through our transformed lives, rather than necessarily being articulate and eloquent.

We live in a culture where people see the need for character and the benefits of sound character… but we can’t seem to agree on what it is? Is it just possessing virtues and if so which ones? Is it good morals, and if so whose? What is character? How do you define it?

It’s that time of year when we are making lists. More fun, balanced family, better finances… Could it be that the ability to successfully navigate 2015 will not be through resolving to do more, but resolving to develop character?

For most the New Year is a time to make resolutions for the year ahead. What would it look like if in 2015 you put God first in those resolutions and sought to go deeper with Him? How could you learn God's Word and become obedient to it this year?
